Our Mission & Vision

Our vision and mission is to help connect people to faith

We understand that you’ve probably been to a few different churches. Finding a church that fits “you” can be challenging because there are so many churches from which to choose. Here at New Life, our goal is not to impress you and show you how holy we are. We just want to show you that you are loved by God, the Savior of the world. New Life is a safe place to come and learn more about God, meet some awesome people (who are super friendly), and leave feeling refreshed, encouraged, and most of all – Hopeful.

Both Jorge and Karla have ministered to young people in various church settings, and they are more than qualified to minister to the youth of our church and community here in Washington. We are honored to have them on our team!

Our Beliefs

New Life Church strives to be a 21st Century Apostolic church serving Beaufort County. We hold to the Bible as being absolute truth and the infallible Word of God.

The Word

We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

God

We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).

Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin.  Through baptism we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38.

The Gift of the Holy Ghost

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. Acts 2:4

Gifts of the Spirit

We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps and government. Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11

Our Values

At New Life Church, we hold strong values about core principles that guide us.

We believe that HE must be present in every service. We always strive to be led by the Holy Spirit.

The Presence of God

We will follow the teachings of Jesus to tell our world about Him and His Saving Grace.

Evangelism

We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational, and socially diverse church. We believe that every person, regardless of their way in life, should have the opportunity to join us and grow in Christ.

Diversity

We believe in giving our very best in everything we do to always bring glory to God.

Excellence

We believe in family, and we will encourage families and individuals alike to stay strong, healthy, and balanced.

Family

We encourage everyone to find their place in ministry by using the talents and abilities given to them by God.

Volunteers

Churches grow because of relationships. It’s our desire to teach the love of God to others through our commitment, care, and hospitality.

We Love People

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”

– Acts 2:1-4, 38-39
